About Diplomat Caterer
As a family-owned catering business in the Bronx, New York, we specialize in home-cooked kosher meals with authentic flavors, wanting to leave the idea of bland hospital food behind. For over 10 years, we have been fulfilling the kosher meal needs of hospitals and medical facilities.
In order to maintain our quality meals and services, as well as the increasing demand of our services, we have recently relocated to an expanded, state-of-the-art facility, doubling in size while enabling us to maintain our high standards of quality control. All of the food we prepare is certified kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU) and the CRC. We recognize that quality is the main ingredient for success and we strive to do our best at all times.
Although our business has expanded, we still continue to treat each of our customers as members of our family. We are always willing to accommodate your requests and specific dietary requirements. Each member of our staff works tirelessly to provide excellent services in order to keep you happy. Though prices of ingredients continue to rise, we believe that we offer competitive pricing for the excellent kosher food we provide.
We also know that our clients like choices. This is why our innovative chefs are constantly in the midst of creating new dishes and inventing new flavor profiles to continually offer variety within our delicious menu options. Besides offering patient meals, we now provide retail kosher salads, wraps, and sandwiches for cafeterias. We also cater to the senior community by supplying senior centers and nursing homes with meals. Aside from standard catering, we can also prepare food for special events such as Rosh Hashana, Thanksgiving, as well as provide kosher for Passover options.
Also, as part of our ongoing effort to make a positive impact on the community, we have partnered with Kulanu Academy, a comprehensive, multi-faceted program center for individuals with special needs and their families, to help connect young adults with community-based work experiences that meet their needs. Diplomat Caterer is happy to partner with Kulanu Academy in teaching the youth about the catering business while helping them build a foundation of confidence and career skills.
